Product highlights

New ValueJet 1324 and 1624 Eco printers

The recently launched ValueJet 1324 – 54” and ValueJet 1624 – 64” printers target the sign and display market. They are suited for the production of long-term outdoor posters, signs and banners, backlit signage, POS displays, vehicle graphics as well as high-quality durable prints for indoor use.

Both printers incorporate new print head technology including Mutoh’s Intelligent Interweaving print technology. The company says the machine printers can deliver typical production speeds up to 14.5 m2/h and top speeds up to 29 m2/h.

ValueJet 1604W

The ValueJet 1604W four-colour dye sublimation printer targets the sublimation transfer market for the production of high quality graphics for businesses focusing on the production of banners, flags, soft signage, interior decoration, curtains, bed linen, sportswear and so on. It uses Mutoh’s high speed dye sublimation inks and has a stated speed up to 17.4 m2/h at 720 x 720 dpi.

New ValueJet TD series printers

Mutoh will display its new ValueJet TD series printers for printing on both open and closed structure fabric. The new eight channel ValueJet TD printers incorporate two new 1440 nozzle piezo drop-on-demand print heads. Mutoh maintains that these new machines will allow typical production speeds up to 24 m2/h and top speeds up to 41 m2/h making them suitable for volume printing as well as for customised one-off projects.

The printers utilise Mutoh’s worry-free water-based direct disperse inks for direct-to-fabric printing. They can also be used with Mutoh’s high-speed dye sublimation inks for transfer paper printing.

FESPA’s Print Shop Live

Mutoh is a key sponsor of FESPA’s Print Shop Live (Booth S10). Here, visitors can view a live demonstration of Mutoh’s new ValueJet 2628TD 2.6m engine, in link with a SETeMa I-Fix thermo-fixation unit.  The ValueJet TD will print directly to fabric with Mutoh direct disperse inks. The printed graphics will then be immediately heat-fixed by the in-line I-Fix. The demonstration aims to enable print service providers to get acquainted with a full end-to-end workflow solution.
