Sign+Digital has just started marketing the Roland VersaSTUDIO BN-20 printer. The Roland VersaSTUDIO BN-20 is a 20-inch desktop inkjet printer / cutter developed to provide custom print / cut jobs on demand without a large investment in equipment and with a desktop footprint.

Sign+Digital sales manager Derek O’Mahoney said the Roland VersaSTUDIO BN-20 printer was a very versatile and economical machine capable of producing durable graphics for both indoor and outdoor use as well as metallic effects.
He added: ‘It’s not going to be pigeonholed into any one particular area due to its flexibility. The machine is ideal for any signmaker or digital printer who wants to make that jump into large format print but without having to make a significant investment. It’s also very suitable for a small print shop that is restricted space wise.’
O’Mahoney also pointed out the VersaSTUDIO BN-20 printer had special features which gave it an edge in the marketplace.
‘For a 20-inch machine just look at what it offers,’ he continued. ‘Metallic ink capability, print / cut on machine, and a very small footprint. It allows people to produce labels, T-shirts, small decals – that sort of thing. But I suppose what sets it apart from any other printer of its size is its metallic capability. This offers our customers new potential revenue streams such as garment printing. And we are also getting inquiries from potential new clients about this machine as well.
