Select Digital Print’s new website reflects the company’s commitment to “excellence in print and customer service”. The redesign aims to ensure customers and potential clients find buying print easy, accessible and stress free.

The company, based in Dublin, is a multi award-winning Irish print house with accolades including the 2010 and 2011 Large Format Digital Print Awards and the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Irish Print Awards.

Select Digital produces a wide range of products including stationery, print marketing, signage and display, promotional print and bespoke print for award ceremonies, furniture, wall coverings and much more.

Tara Wilson-Black, managing director, explained the background to this new website: “A key word we use on the new site is ethical. By that I mean everybody has to get a slice of the pie. The customer has to win by getting a quality printed product at an ethical cost. Select Digital has to make a margin and if there is an ad agency or creative person in the middle they have to win as well. That’s the premise we work on here. With five Irish print awards under our belt we are definitely the market leader when it comes to digital print.

“The new website has been designed to showcase that because I honestly don’t think there is another print house that can offer the variety of products we do both small and large format such as printing on furniture. That’s unique in itself. So we push the barriers and make people think outside the box of what they can do and achieve with print. We built the new website because I genuinely felt the original one didn’t do justice or highlight the colourful work that we produce. When customers visited that previous site I don’t they fully grasped the extent of what we did?” said Wilson-Black.

Select Digital took over 150 photographs for the new site and also simplified the process of navigation.

“There is also advice on the new website,” she added. “So for example if you want a ‘Tent card’ we tell you the benefits of what using a Tent card in your business will be. If someone is thinking of doing a ‘Shell Scheme’ at an exhibition or event we show them a blank one first and then one with graphics on it so that they can see the advantages of using a Shell Scheme. Most other sites don’t do that.”

She concluded: The result is a website that showcases the quality of our work, the satisfaction of our clients, and some of our cool working atmosphere and personality.”

Think Contemporary is an interior & furniture design company based in Dublin. When working on any project it always tries to incorporate second hand and vintage furniture modifying it where possible. To achieve really unique pieces Think Contemporary came up with the idea of applying images to the furniture. Researching this concept it found Select Digital and they suggested using vinyl printing as the medium. The company’s furniture has received international press and has been used in residential and commercial settings.
