Reads Design & Print – one of Ireland’s leading print providers – has recently invested in two further Mimaki CJV30-100 integrated printer/cutters in response to increasing demand for wide format printed output. The two new machines were supplied by authorised Mimaki reseller, Complete Digital and have been installed in Reads’ Dublin city centre and Sandyford branches.
Reads-flagship-Dublin-branchBy using the most up-to-date equipment available, it has allowed both branches to diversify into work such as vinyl stickers, labels, roll-up stands, canvas and banner prints to the high quality and standard that Reads – and its customers demand. Owner and General Manager at the Sandyford branch, Niall Mescal commented “Since moving into the printing business in the 1980s, our aim has always been to maintain superior service at a value for money price,” he said. “The addition of the Mimaki printers allows us to continue to offer this for our customers”.
Mimaki CJV30 printer/cutters similar to Reads’ machine are available in four widths ranging from 60 cm to 1.6 metre and deliver a combination of high print quality, a broad range of outdoor durable ink types (including white and metallic) coupled to excellent productivity with their unattended, print-and-cut capabilities. Dave Rainsford, General Manager, Ireland for Mimaki’s distributor, Hybrid Services Ltd, is naturally very pleased with Reads’ investment. “I'm delighted that both branches are now Mimaki partners and that Reads’ continued investment in our solutions is delivering such considerable advantages.”
The company said that both branches have benefited greatly since investing in the Mimaki machines, having purchased three in the last eight months to cater for increasing levels of business. Gary O’Reilly – general manager of the Setanta Centre branch added: “With the extremely high volume of work we receive through our corporate sectors along with general day-to-day trade, we needed a very good response to help us cope with the increased demand. Our continued investment in Mimaki hardware has provided us with a perfect solution.”
