Geometrics Ltd has expanded its warehousing facility to enable the company to increase and develop its range of media available for the Solvent and Dye Based digital printing market.

The warehouse, which is based in the Clonshaugh Industrial Estate, Dublin 17 is easily accessible due to its proximity to the M1 and M50 motorways. The operation of the facility allows for orders to be dispatched for next day delivery country wide or alternatively customers have the choice to collect from the warehouse itself.

Geometrics can now offer a wide range of vinyl’s, including Grey back permanent glue, Grey back removable glue, Matt Vinyl, and a new Post it Vinyl (180µ post it glue for easy application and removal) with matching over Laminate, Gloss, Satin or Matt.

Fergus Byrne, MD of Geometrics said that the new Post it Vinyl is particularly useful for sending out graphics which the end user can then apply without any special skill and without the fear of wrinkles due to it’s heavier weight.

“For a commitment to 50 rolls of vinyl over a period of time we are able to offer clients customised vinyls!” he stated. “100µ or 180µ etc with a light glue, strong glue, grey glue, post-it-adhesive are now all available.”

The main product range which Geometrics supply is the Emblem range of media which the company source directly from the Dataplot manufacturing plant based in Germany.

Byrne said that Geometrics have a long standing business relationship with Dataplot and feel that the diverse specialized range of products offered by them will be of interest to many of the Display companies operating in Ireland.

“A good example of this was when Jens Wilke from Dataplot recently visited some of the Display companies around Dublin,” said Byrne. “He found a lot of interest in the Emblem Fire Retardant Banner materials which we are able to offer.”

In addition to the extra media carried, Geometrics are now also supplying stretcher bars for canvas into the fine art digital printing market.

Byrne concluded:

“With over 3,000 (100 boxes of 30) stretcher bars in stock ranging from 8”  to  60” Geometrics are in place to cater for the usual Christmas rush of Canvas prints from the high street retailer.”
