HP Image and Printing Ireland has showcased a number of new innovations across its printing portfolio, including industry-first technologies which it claims will transform how consumers access, share, print and manage content.
The new technologies are designed to help enable all consumers, including SMB’s and large organisations to better manage and access digital content, convert information from paper to digital with one touch, and quickly unlock enterprise content.

The following new HP printers and technology were showcased at the Dublin event:
— The HP TopShot LaserJet Pro M275 designed to allow users to capture images of 3-D objects and scan documents. It is equipped with HP TopShot Scanning, a technology that captures six separate images of a document or 3-D object and produces one final seamless image. Aimed at SMBs it can quickly produce high-quality images for immediate use in printed materials or on the web. The HP Topshot will be available in February 2012.
— The new HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One series and HP Officejet Pro 8100 ePrinter. HP maintains that both deliver professional-quality colour documents for up to 50% lower cost per page than laser printers, and enable printing from virtually anywhere when using mobile devices with HP ePrint.The Officejet Pro 8100 ePrinter has a suggested retail price of €129, the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus eAiO will be available in January 2012.
HP also introduced two HP LaserJet printers and an HP Scanjet printer at the showcase.
— HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M601 – a secure, network managed and easy-to-use web-enabled monochrome printer series engineered for high-volume document printing. The HP Laserjet 600 M601 has a suggested retail price of €649.
— HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 color M551 series – an HP ePrint-enabled printer for enterprise and SMB work teams who want professional-quality colour and advanced print management tools. The HP Laserjet 500 M551 has a suggested retail price of €579.
— HP Scanjet Enterprise 8500fn1 Document Capture Workstation – a scanner optimised for workgroups with high-volume scanning needs, featuring an easy-to-use, large colour touch screen. The HP Scanjet Enterprise 8500fn1 has a suggested retail price of €3,968.
