Well nobody should be surprised that the organisers of Sign & Digital Ireland and Print Ireland have deferred this year’s exhibition until sometime in the future. After re-scheduling Sign & Digital UK to next year (April 30- May 2, 2013) it was just a matter of time before their Irish equivalent met the same fate.
Sign&Digital and Print Ireland logoHowever, although it’s being touted as due to ‘difficult economic reasons’, drupa and a raft of other exhibitions this year have also played their part in the decision.
What’s interesting in a statement just released by the company is that they are now asking YOU, the industry to advise them about a future suitable date for the event.

The show team want your suggestions...
The Sign & Digital Ireland and Print Ireland team are after your suggestions on when the show should next be held.
The initial plans were to run the show in October 2012 but after feedback from both exhibitors and visitors with regards to the prolonged difficult economic climate, it was felt that a later date would be preferred.
Happy visitors at the last Sign&DigitalRudi Blackett, Event Director, said: “Although we have strong levels of commitment from exhibitors and positive feedback, the overall feeling is that a later date for the exhibition would be the sensible decision given the current financial situation. We look forward to seeing the industry’s suggestions”.
