Océ, one of the world’s leading companies in digital printing and software solutions and part of the Canon Group of companies, was a major sponsor of this year’s Fidelity Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, from 8-11th September.

The company provided fully networked state-of-the-art printing at the event allowing event organisers to produce up-to-the minute results sheets, as well ensuring flexibility and convenience for the event’s press and administration offices.

The Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, which started in 1990, has become one of the UK’s most prestigious sporting occasions set against the spectacular backdrop of Blenheim Palace. It is one of the world’s major international three-day events and this year it welcomed some of the world’s leading riders, drawing an audience of over 60,000 spectators.

Mandy Hervieu, Event Director, said: “We have been lucky enough to have Océ’s sponsorship at the Blenheim Palace Horse Trials for more than 12 years. The digital technology the company provides plays such an extremely important part in the smooth running of the event. The networked printing equipment gives us full flexibility and control over the fast-paced eventing competition, allowing us to print up-to-date information with great confidence.”

Bron Curley, Managing Director of Océ UK, said: “Blenheim always provides a top-level competitive environment for both horses and riders, and this strikes a particular chord with Océ, as Europe’s leading manufacturer in the highly competitive digital printing market. I am delighted that Océ’s advanced systems are playing an important part in ensuring the smooth running of such a prestigious event.”
