Company continues to succeed
with the new Roland VersaCAMM.
Roland VersaUV LEF-20 within the first hour of the new printers release on Tuesday, 24th September last, printMAX has done it again.
Following on from its success at selling the firstAt the start of October, in a surprise announcement from Roland, the follow on to the popular VersaCAMM VS models, the flagship VS-i was released. By the end of the day printMAX had once again secured the first worldwide sale.
The company has sold Roland machines since 2007, and with the introduction of the VS range back in 2010, this gave an opportunity for extra sales to printMAX. Not only did the UK Company sell the first VS in Europe, but it also went on to sell and install more VS printers than any other Roland dealer. This, said the company, certainly contributed towards its first year as Roland’s most successful authorised dealer.
Three years later and into the third consecutive year of holding onto the title of Roland’s most successful authorised dealer, printMAX have secured the first worldwide sale of the long awaited successor in the VersaCAMM VS range, the brand new VS-i.
Lisa Moncrieff, Roland DG UK Marketing Manager said, “I can confirm that printMAX, on the day of launch not only secured the first European sale but also the first global sale of the VS-i series.”
An existing Roland user and printMAX customer, Creative Signs and Graphics, looked to upgrade their SP-540i within the first day of the VS-i hitting the UK market. The sign company based in Maidenhead was convinced the new machine was a way of offering more to its customers; particularly the white ink option which it saw as a way to enhance the production of window graphics.
“Our SP has proved to have been a bit of a workhorse for us, reliable and productive,” said Steve Green, Creative Signs and Graphics. “When we looked to the future we could only see ourselves looking at Roland options. printMAX have been fantastic in understanding our business needs and technological requirements, the VS-i is absolutely the right printer for us.”
The Roland VersaCAMM VS-i has the latest light black ink option and runs the newly improved ECO-SOL MAX2 inks developed to offer more versatility and higher production rates than previous models. printMAX maintain these improvements enable greater vibrancy, less odour, a faster drying time and easier input with front loading capability. Additionally the company pointed out that the white and metallic, in comparison with their predecessors, have an increased density allowing for improved vibrancy.
Chris Martin, printMAX Sales Manager commented, “The Roland VersaCAMM is a fantastic piece of kit, our customers never fault it. With the new improvements I’m positive the VS-i will prove to be a popular choice for those looking at print/cut options.”
printMAX believes the main selling point however, is value. With a lower introductory price than ever before starting at just £10,499, it said the VS-i offers affordable technology without compromising on quality.
