Hybrid Services, exclusive UK and Irish distributor for Mimaki, fared well at Sign + Digital with multiple product launches, special guests and plenty of anticipation for new Mimaki solutions on its stand at the entrance to the halls.
With the new Mimaki JV400 latex printer range making the headlines – and featuring on several of Hybrid’s resellers’ stands – it was no surprise that the machine caught the attention of so many Sign + Digital visitors.
John de la Roche, national sales manager, Hybrid, was buoyant as the show drew to a close. “Our resellers have taken multiple orders for the new machines, so we’re delighted with the response to the product launches we made during the show,” he said. “The new Mimaki latex printers have understandably captivated the commercial print, sign making and graphics sectors – it’s a solution that offers companies considerable revenue generating potential.”
Mimaki’s latest addition to its dye sublimation range is the Mimaki TS34-1800A – and alongside a new variant of Mimaki’s successful UJF-3042 LED UV flatbed was launched during the show as well. Duncan Jefferies, marketing manager, Hybrid, said: “Launching new products with three completely different ink types demonstrates Mimaki’s continued commitment to innovation, within multiple markets and delivering a highly creative suite of solutions.”
Dave Rainsford, general manager for Ireland, Hybrid, said: “We’ve seen excellent numbers of Irish visitors on the Hybrid stand throughout the course of the exhibition and it’s a positive sign that things are changing around, that Irish companies are looking at investing again and are committing to looking into new technologies”.
“Our Irish reseller network has been well represented, bringing existing and prospective customers to the stand to look at the new latex, UV and dye sub machines from Mimaki – as well as our big range of outdoor durable solutions,” he said.
Amid the excitement at the new product launches, Laura Hutchings of Silk Screen Advertising won the Spot the Ball competition – taking home a signed football jersey from legends Arthur Albiston and Lou Macari who helped Hybrid celebrate the exhibition’s 25th anniversary.
Hybrid and its reseller network now anticipate a busy period installing machines and working closely with their customers. For those who didn't make the show, open days and product demonstrations are available on request.
