HP’s European Latex Applications Tour will now include stops in Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Hungary, Romania and Poland from end February to March.
The tour, which uses a 16.5m-long customised truck and trailer, has been equipped with a few new features for 2012 among them the recently-announced HP Designjet L28500 printer. The interior has a cafeteria-style creative applications centre using indoor decorative textiles, wallpapers and double-sided banners. The truck also features a new flatbed area showcasing some of the many applications that can be achieved using devices like the HP Scitex FB500 Printer, which handles rigid substrates such as wood, glass and ceramics.
So far the HP tour has visited almost 60 cities in 13 countries since its journey began at FESPA Digital in May 2011.
Ruth Quindos, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) sign and display production marketing manager for HP says: “We’re thrilled to be extending what has been an incredibly effective way of demonstrating the vast business-enhancing benefits achievable for PSPs [print service providers] by utilising HP Latex Technologies.”
Each event aims to show how incorporating HP latex printers, inks and compatible HP substrates into operations can help deliver business enhancing opportunities to PSPs. These include informative presentations, customer testimonials, hands-on workshops and live product demonstrations on the 2.64m (104in)-wide HP Designjet L28500 printer.
