Pace MIS and Digital StoreFront
London based MTA Digital is being helped by EFI™ Pace and Digital StoreFront software to streamline production on its VUTEk® QS2000 wide-format printer and digital presses in order to accommodate the companies growing order book.
Pace has been installed to deliver an efficient MIS system and allow the company to concentrate more on its management structure, while Digital StoreFront; an integrated web-to-print software will be used to attract new business opportunities.
Although MTA Digital was already using MIS and web-to-print software it decided that it wanted to upgrade its existing systems to more cohesive software solutions. The acid test was that they had to be designed to provide a fully integrated print management system, from on-line ordering through to automated management tasks. The company said that EFI's Digital StoreFront allows it to generate more income and establish a new customer base via the intuitive and user-friendly online service. Additionally, the installation of EFI Pace as an advanced MIS program, which integrates with its web-to-print capability simplifies the control and scheduling of production data, reduces costs and delivers an improved customer service.
John Sinnott, managing director of MTA Digital, explained: "We needed to implement an MIS system alongside a web-to-print function that would bring us easier business management. Working with EFI gave us the benefit of dealing with a single service provider, giving us leading, compatible products and simplifying integration."
