Dublin based Sign + Digital, one of Ireland’s premier suppliers to the sign making and digital print industry has announced details of the inaugural Sign + Digital Signage Summit 2015, which will feature the second All Ireland Vehicle Wrapping Championships. The event will take place on the 28 April at the company’s headquarters in Tallaght, Dublin 24.
Company to launch new Mutoh 426 UV flatbed printer and Lamidesk flatbed roll laminating machine at open days on 14 – 15 April
Dublin based Magco; a leading supplier to the Sign, Display & Graphics industries in Ireland has announced that it will be launching two new ‘exciting’ products at its next open days on 14 – 15 April. Continued Mimaki investment gives McMordie Bros creative edge.
McMordie Bros of Belfast has recently invested in the first Mimaki JFX200-2513 in Ireland through long-standing Mimaki reseller, Dennis D Evans. The investment was made to allow the company to expand upon its trade service offering to include direct to board printing and further confirm its standing as rigid substrate experts in the industry.
Over one million Euros invested into the company’s growing fleet of high tech printers.
Dublin based Horizon Digital Print Solutions is one of the largest printers in Ireland, operating for over 15 years. The company prints everything from large to small format; however it specialises in Point of Sale, Outdoor Advertising, and Digital Displays. Horizon is known in the industry for producing top of the line quality prints and has been growing at a fast pace for a number of years now.
McGowans launches
new logo and brand.
Irish based McGowans Print announced on 5 January 2015 the launch of its new logo and brand, a development it said represents an exciting era for the company, which has locations in both Dublin and Belfast.
Industry led summary says,
"A good year all round it seems,
so is the ‘race to the bottom’ finally over in 2015?"
In summing up 2014, it appears many Irish and UK printers and machine/materials suppliers are relatively upbeat about the improvement in GDP rates, although the situation for some other EU countries such as France and Spain, as well as the overall GDP growth rate forecast for 2015 in other countries does not make for good reading. However, whilst our respondents official statements echo the official economic indicators, it appears that they are at odds with what is happening in the market place and also, in contradiction with some of their own ‘off the record’ remarks.
