Xerox has announced the further expansion of its channel partner network in the UK with the appointment of CityDocs, a leading supplier of document services to the legal sector in London and the South East.

Multi Packaging Solutions (MPS) Bristol has installed the first UK Domino N610i 7-colour UV digital ink jet label press. The company is an award-winning supplier of self-adhesive labels to a wide range of markets and made the purchase as a result of a major investment programme at the site.
Roland DG and Sabur Digital Ltd expand relationship.
Roland DG has confirmed it has decided to develop its dealer relationship further with UK based Sabur Digital Ltd. The Barnsley-located digital textile and sublimation printing specialist is now adding to its Roland DG machine portfolio in the form of the VersaCAMMSP-i and VersaCAMMVS-i ranges of eco-solvent wide format printers, which form part of what Roland DG state are ‘the highest-selling print & cut series in the world’.
Company moves to new premises in Chatham, Kent.
UK based PressOn; the large format digital printers established by Andy Wilson and Nigel Webster in 2000, has moved to larger new premises in Chatham, Kent. The move was made, said the company, following the rapid growth and expansion of the business in the past three years.

Company to showcase European premiere of three new printers.
At Fespa 2015, Cologne, Germany, from 18-22 May, (Mutoh’s booth in Hall 6, T30), wide-format printer manufacturer MUTOH has confirmed that it will unveil three new printers: ValueJet 405GT, a desktop direct-to-garment printer, ValueJet 1628X, a 64” (165 cm) wide 8-channel Eco Ultra printer with white & metallic inks and ValueJet 1938WX, a 1900 mm (75”) wide dye sublimation printer.
New technology to double personalised direct Mail output.
UK based Print and direct mail specialist, Assembly Direct Mail (ADM), has invested in a Xerox Colour C75 Press and two Xerox Nuvera® 144 EA Series Production Systems. This has been undertaken as part of an ongoing investment programme in new digital print production technology.
700 jobs lost at major UK paper merchant.
The UK print industry was reeling from the news that administrators from Deloitte were appointed to a number of PaperlinX UK operations on 1 April, although the group’s packaging operations are not included. The sad news was that nearly 700 employees were immediately laid off.
Joint administrator Matt Smith is quoted as saying that “the firm has struggled due to an increase in digital communications and as a result, the paper business had been hit by falling demand.”
