New customer-focused inks and solutions

for print shops to manage a large range

of wide format printing applications.

Printed with Bordeaux FUZE ECO SC, eco solvent ink and Smart Cartridge System on an Epson® SureColor S™ printerPrinted with Bordeaux FUZE ECO SC, eco solvent ink and Smart Cartridge System on an Epson® SureColor S™ printerBordeaux Digital Printink, a company which specialises in developing and manufacturing high quality inks and coatings, has announced that it will launch new custom made inks and solutions compatible with most wide and grand format digital printers at FESPA Munich, Germany 20-23 May 2014, Hall B2 Stand 340.

Bordeaux said that during Fespa, it will emphasize its ability to provide specific solutions for the most recent Eco solvent-based Epson, Mimaki, Mutoh, Roland and other printers. On show will be the full line of FUZE ECO solvent Mix & Match inks which it claims are environmentally friendly, support high printing speed and offer a competitive advantage over its OEM counterpart.

“There is a global trend in which printers are shying away from OEM to ink manufacturers that develop compatible inks. We took trend this one step further and invested in the development of specific Eco solvent inks and chips to fit particular printer models,” said Moshe Zach, CEO of Bordeaux. “OEM users can enjoy peace of mind when switching from expensive OEM ink to fully compatible Bordeaux inks.  I personally endorse our Eco inks to deliver superior results and our customers can start seeing the savings from the first drop.”

The Company also announced that it will launch its newest 700ml cartridge with dedicated chip on an Epson® SureColor S™ printer at the exhibition. The solution uses FUZE ECO SC ink, a Mix & Match with the original ink, which is designed to preserve ink quality and allow the user to swap from OEM to Bordeaux cartridges quickly, one colour at a time, without requiring any prior or post preparations. Bordeaux maintain this is the most convenient solution in the market today and is aimed to replace Ultrachrome GS2 ink.

The company also offers FUZE ECO SC in 1000ml bags, which it claims provides 40 per cent more ink than OEM cartridges. Used with Ink on Demand’s Smart Cartridge System, this Eco solvent solution provides longer uninterrupted printing cycles and enables users to monitor the ink level and receive real-time ink changing alerts.

In addition to showcasing its UV-curable ink series and adhesion promoters, Bordeaux will also run live demonstrations of its Dye Sublimation high density inks. For direct-to-textile and transfer printing, these water-based textile inks are manufactured from non-hazardous, hypoallergenic raw materials with low environmental impact. The inks feature bright and vibrant colours, which Bordeaux said give excellent, image definition for high quality printing and a long shelf life.
