Electronics For Imaging, Inc. – EFI - (Nasdaq:EFII) announced yesterday 9^th May that McGowans Print, Ireland’s largest and one of Europe’s most advanced digital print facilities, is installing the new EFI™ Nozomi C18000 single-pass LED inkjet corrugated board press in its Dublin facility. The press will be the second EFI Nozomi press installed worldwide, and will give McGowans the ability to capture new growth opportunities in short-run corrugated packaging and display production.

Franchising company takes on EFI technology to transform.

Guy Gecht, CEO of EFISnap Franchising Ltd has announced a partnership expansion with EFI. This new deal is part of Snap's efforts to develop, stay ahead and meet the needs of businesses small, medium and large. The business transformation project, named Project DNA, represents an AU$10m investment for Snap's wider IT transformation strategy, with a focus to evolve in the digital age and become more client centric as a business. It will include all the Snap franchises in Ireland as well.

Luke Drogan, business development manager at SuperWide Digital, now has all the right equipment to meet his customers' expectationsIt’s been reported by EFI that British trade-only printer SuperWide Digital has invested in two VUTEk® machines to increase production capacity and support its expansion into new sales areas. It purchased a VUTEk GS3250LX Pro 3.2m wide-format flatbed and roll-fed LED-curing printer in March 2013, and the UK Company has reported that it has benefitted so extensively from this investment that it has doubled up by buying a second unit: a VUTEk GS5500LXr Pro five-metre roll-to-roll LED-curing machine, which will now headline its super-wide format production. This second investment is a further demonstration of SuperWide's confidence in EFI.
