After a hugely successful 2014, Print finishing equipment supplier Mounter’s Mate returns for a second year at the UK’s Sign& Digital Trade Show in March 2015.
(January 17, 2015) –New print finishing equipment company Mounter’s Mate will showcase their services and two new products at the Sign and Digital Exhibition at the NEC in March.
Visitors can expect something a little unusual from Applelec this year. We can’t say much but the word on the street is that they will be exhibiting their signage, display and lighting products in a way which has never been seen before at Sign and Digital UK.

A world first Pixalux – there is nothing else like it on the market!
Pixalux is an illuminated LED panel which will revolutionise the signage and point of sale market. The Pixalux panel uses LED lighting combined with complex layers of acrylic to create a structural light sheet that has an opal surface on both sided. The panel is frameless, double-sided and has a shadowless even spread of light. Due to its structural properties it can be used directly in point of sale units or can be used instead of wood or metal, it can even be walked on. The panel surfaces can be printed or can have vinyl graphics applied directly to the surface. Pixalux is patented worldwide.
D&K has been manufacturing narrow and wide format laminators for over 30 years so is used to providing cost effective solutions to the marketplace.
At Sign & Digital D&K will exhibit the Atlas wide format laminator which will be linked to a newly developed wide format cross-cutter producing sheets from the encapsulated web exiting the laminator.
The cutter will be shown in-line with the 165cms multi-function version of Atlas laminator – it is also available in an “x-y” version. In that format the length can be controlled by the reading of crop marks programmable into many printers RIPs, and central and side trimming set manually.

Corel will be running a series of free workshops at the Sign & Digital UK 2015 show. The Corel Theatre will play host to 6 CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 workshops each day plus two drop-in surgeries where users can bring along a project on a memory stick to get expert advice from the Corel team.
