Dean Sanger is the Managing Director of Sabur.
He said “Working together on the Mimaki brand further strengthens Sabur Digital’s place as market leaders in the sublimation print sector. Our printer and press portfolio now includes Mimaki, Roland, Klieverik, Sefa and DGI, making our product range one of the most comprehensive available in the UK.”
Sabur is situated on the M1/M62 corridor in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and it is extending its show suite to over 2,500ft2 making it one of the largest textile showrooms in Europe. Dean said
“We anticipate further growth in the digital textile print sector over the next few years. With the addition of the Mimaki brand we are able to facilitate the requests of customers to show all aspects of sublimation printing, including both paper transfer and direct to textile.”
The company’s show suite will have the facility to demonstrate various machine types from entry level production to high speed and super wide. It will also house the new MTEX Blue – a direct to textile printer with inbuilt curing facility, making it a turnkey machine for the production of flags, banners and soft signage.
Dean is excited about Sabur Digital’s representation in the ever growing digital textile print sector and comments,
“Our investment into the show suite extension and product portfolio further shows our commitment to cementing our position as market leaders in this very demanding print sector.”
Since the company’s formation as sublimation specialists in 1998, Sabur has continued to grow year on year and is now recognised and respected worldwide as one of the market leaders in the sublimation print sector.
Dean remarks, “I have personally been involved in the textile industry since 1982 and have seen an increase in digital production on an epic scale, with fabric being printed digitally for applications from one off shirts to home furnishing printed by the mile. These are really exciting times for British manufacturing as we see companies looking to bring back production from the Far East. Our vans have carried long carried the livery ‘Proudly Supporting British Manufacturing Since 1998’.”
Dean says that with the reinvestment in UK manufacturing and existing customers typically looking to invest in new technology every 4-5 years, he feels it is vital that companies are able to view on site the very latest in technological advancements since their last investments.
“Customers will be invited to view the products and work alongside our staff to produce their own designs from print to press in order to ensure that the solution is the correct one for their application,” he confirms.
In May, Sabur Digital plans a combined launch of the company’s new website and its new flagship showroom that will have various textile machines on show including the Mimaki Tx300P, MTEX Blue, Roland RT-640, Roland XT-640 and the Klieverik calendar press.
