Winter rain summer or fall!
The ‘shigure 時雨’(winter drizzle, sleet) is a Japanese kigo (a word or phrase associated with a particular season, used in Japanese poetry related to this kind of early cold rain in the overlapping time from autumn to winter) which thankfully didn’t hinder ‘DPNlive’ co-publisher, Bob Tallent, from attending the official opening of Ricoh’s new Customer Experience Centre in Telford, just outside Birmingham on the 4 November 2014.
Ricoh's investment in this state of the art facility is designed to showcase the company’s machines and technology in real-life situations to the print industry.

On the other side of the scale, the end of autumn in Europe has now produced a plethora of pre Christmas road shows, special offers, and other promotions from large format suppliers to entice potential new and current customers to ‘trade in’, or upgrade their machinery to ‘the latest’!
A sign of the times, pure competiveness, or a strong indication that the industry is still in recession, no matter what the hype in the media suggests!
DPNlive would like to hear your views.
