Sheard Packaging, a family-run business based in Halifax, Yorkshire, UK, supplies Antalis with stock corrugated boxes as well as customised and bespoke products, and has been highly praised for its outstanding customer service, attention to detail and constant reliability as a mainstream Antalis supplier.

"Nothing is ever too much trouble for Sheard Packaging, who really have proved themselves as a cut above the rest," says Andy Christian, Purchasing and Procurement Director at Antalis UK and Ireland. "Our Supplier Excellence Programme is based around four key concepts: improving consistency of manufacturing lead time, accuracy of delivery, product quality and speed of complaint resolution, and Sheard Packaging has maintained top scores across the board."

Previous winners of the Antalis Supplier of the Year award include Sappi, UPM and Sealed Air, and Andy is anticipating a strong push from these and all other suppliers to wrestle the trophy away from Sheard Packaging in 2015.
