HP has just announced dates for the UK and Ireland legs of its European Latex Applications tour, designed to demonstrate what it regards as the huge opportunities available to Print Service Providers (PSPs) using HP Latex printing technologies.
The tour is built around a 16.5 metre-long customised truck and trailer. Already on the road through many European countries over recent months, it will embark on a roadshow across the UK and Ireland during November and December 2011.
The road shows are designed to inspire and demonstrate how incorporating HP Latex printers, inks and compatible HP substrates into their operations can deliver business enhancing opportunities to PSPs. Each event will feature informative presentations, customer testimonials, hands-on workshops and live product demonstrations on a 152.4 cm (60 inch) HP Designjet L25500 Printer.
The HP Latex Applications tour will focus particularly on how users can undertake a host of innovative graphic arts projects by maximising the multi-substrate printing capability of latex printers. HP also will explain the environmental benefits of Latex Printing and how these technologies allow PSPs to limit the impact of their operations on the environment.
All the sessions will showcase a range of new market opportunities enabled by the versatility of latex ink including non-traditional signage applications, such as wallpaper, indoor decorative textiles, printing on uncoated fabrics and fine art canvas reproductions. HP aims to also show how Latex inks can now open up opportunities to service previously impossible applications - printing for enclosed spaces such as lifts, or buildings with strict regulations in place such as hospitals and restaurants.
