XM700 PRINT French headquartered Gravotech Group, a leading global provider in the design, manufacturing and distribution of innovative solutions for engraving, marking and artistic modelling has confirmed it will exhibit at the 2014 Offshore Technology Conference to be held in Houston, Texas, USA, 5 – 8th May (booth #7502). The Group, which is made up of four distinct brands, Gravograph, Technifor, Propen and Type3, specializes in permanent marking, and its range of equipment covers four key technologies: Laser, Mechanical engraving, Scribing, and Micro-percussion which are all complemented by a wide range of engraving materials and other compatible consumables.

At the OTC2014, Gravotech will introduce its new portable marking solution, the XM700. This new and innovative electro-magnetic marking solution is fully mobile, with an integrated control unit and belt battery. The company highlighted the fact that it is extremely simple and user-friendly with Intuitive Programming, easy to hold by hand, fast and offers the deepest marking possible in its class with a brand new stylus technology. It added that the XM700 allows users the opportunity to engrave all their products with logos, serial numbers, linear text, Data Matrix™, month, date or year codes.
Over the years, Gravotech has developed a strong expertise in both CO2 and fibre laser solutions for fast and high quality marking on any material. Some of the machines using this leading-edge technique will also be shown such as the new TF430, a versatile and high performance fibre laser marking solution with Lasertop enclosure.
