Canon to demonstrate the diversity of its
wide format offering at Sign & Digital UK 2014.
Canon has released details of what it terms ‘the diversity of its wide format offering’ which it will be demonstrating at Sign & Digital UK (29 April - 1 May 2014, NEC, Birmingham). On the stand there will be a focus on how its range of printers, software and substrates can enable customers to be more creative with wide format print, all designed, it said, to open up additional revenue channels and improve delivery times.

Industry leaders say renaissance of print has already begun.
Frank Romano, professor emeritus at RIT asked the speakers at an Ipex World Print Summit session on the 25th April if print is doomed or on the verge of a new digital renaissance. They agreed that they see evidence already of print's expansion into new and innovative directions such as variable data or high-margin industrial applications. Keynote speakers EFI™ CEO Guy Gecht and Landa Corp CEO Benny Landa addressed a packed audience on the second day of the London based exhibition. The session looked at trends and the drivers for success needed by today's print companies.
